The tour will take place roughly 8 am. Pass Kemer, stop at the Sahin Tepesi lookout point and experience an impressive view of the city of Kumluca and carry on until the village Kekova. It is very picturesque to the harbour of Kekova. You can see clear turquoise waters of the Mediterranean on the left and travel on the right-hand small towns and lovely peaks of Taurus. You will explore the remains of the sunken city of Kekova on a one-hour boat trip. Gradually you can see the ruins of a lot of buildings under the sea, the steps under the water as the glass bottom boat moves gradually.
You can learn the history of this ancient Lycian city, which you can imagine how it used to look. The surviving walls and doors of the colossal buildings, one of which is known as a Byzantine temple, can be seen on Kekova Island. There are many Lycian sarcophaguses on the mainland as well as on the oceans. Don't miss the opportunity to swim in the warm turquoise waters. You travel to the ancient city of Myra after a thrilling ride. It's very known for its large amphitheatre and the Lycian rock-cut tombs.
You have sufficient time to discover every part of this ancient city and the unbelievable Necropolis of Lycia. The church of Saint Nicholas in Demre is the last place to pass. Every year thousands of people from around the world travel here to see, explore and pray for St. Nicholas ' original tomb the Marble Sarcophagus. A few years ago, the building was rebuilt and now functions as a museum. You can certainly appreciate the interior, filled with frescoes that have been restored. There is a local restaurant right next to the church that offers an open buffet lunch. And then, once you end the trip, you can drive back to Kemer. The time of arrival is about 18:00.
