After picking up from the hotel and meeting a guide, with our hiking and underground city tour, you're ready to explore a stunning Cappadocia. First of all, you can see the Red Valley, one of Cappadocia's most beautiful valleys. With its different rock formations in white, purple, yellow and orange colours, it will impress you. The total distance on your stroll across Red Valley's vibrant and beautiful fairy chimneys is 4 km. Several cave temples, cave houses and cave tunnels can also be found to be seen.
Next place you're going to visit is the ancient Greek village of Cavusin, very famous for the churches of rock cut. You can walk around the ruins to explore the structures left by the former Greek inhabitants of the village centuries ago and walk up the hill to visit the churches of rock cut. Then you'll stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch you will visit Cappadocia's largest underground city-the underground city of Kaymakli. In 1964, it was opened to visitors and consists of eight levels (only four are open). You're going to walk through the narrow corridors and find numerous rooms and storages built from the smooth volcanic stone. You will see doors of rolling stone, deep wells and shafts of ventilation. It will be a memorable experience that will be unforgettable.
You will visit the Pigeon Valley after the underground city of Kaymakli, named after the many pigeon houses or dovecotes carved into the rocks. The last destination will be the rock castle of Ortahisar, Cappadocia's biggest fairy chimney. A general view of the city of Ortahisar will remain for a long time in your memory. It looks like a real fairytail town with a huge rock on top of it.
